Hanky Panky

World’s Most Comfortable Thong Here’s something a little “cheekier” now. Hanky Panky, which was created out of love, friendship, comfort, and style, gained popularity on a whim in the late 1970s. The iconic lace lingerie that started it all for this now-ubiquitous underwear company was later joined by a range of loungewear, accessories, bridal wear, and other items. Hanky Panky has a reputation for being among the finest and has frequently been mentioned in the media and by famous people as a reliable brand. The NY Times, Today, Market Watch, and other publications have all mentioned how well-liked this business is. In line with Forbes, “Hanky Panky bottoms are so popular, they sell an average of one panty a second all over the globe, covering tens of millions of bottoms every year.” This company doesn’t need to increase sales because it has committed followers in more than 70 countries, but it does so by continuing to make high-end items that are in great demand. Their success and ongoing relevance are evidenced by their 69.3k Instagram followers. The history and information you need to know about this enduringly well-liked brand are provided in our Hanky Panky underwear review. You can evaluate if this firm might offer anything for you by looking at the products, reviews, pricing, and other information that is provided. The Story of Hanky Panky In 1977, the first Hanky Panky was created by creator Gale Epstein as a birthday gift for her friend and fellow founder Lida Orzeck. The exquisite underwear set that came with this present was created from a handkerchief to offer comfort, support, and elegance. A brand was created from this one present, and the two, who both had day jobs, decided to manufacture a few samples for customers in an effort to supplement their income. During a lunch break, Orzeck sent a sample set to Macy’s, and before the end of the meeting, he had an order form with a signed request for further sets. That was all it took for this business to enter the boutique market and develop a devoted customer base for its goods. Demand increased even further with the release of their thong, which is currently their most well-liked product. What makes the sale and attracts back business is their crocheted lace. These products are constructed to last and are crafted with real comfort, color, and style in mind. Despite having greater prices, Hanky Panky products endure far longer than those from other manufacturers. The brand has recently launched the Hanky Panky plus size range, which comes in sizes 14 to 24, with bra sizes ranging from 38 to 38, B to D, after branching out from their initial lingerie and into thongs, bralettes, and nightwear. Such companies typically have more positive attributes than negative ones, but we’ll include both so you can decide for yourself… Benefits From nightwear, accessories, and bras to undergarments and bras, Hanky Panky sells a wide range of goods. Since 1977, this company has been in business with success. Favored by a number of well-known celebrities, including Cher, Rihanna, Jennifer Aniston, and Katy Perry. Reviews of Hanky Panky underpants frequently gush about how durable their products are made. Materials have beautiful patterns and are both soft and strong. Available financing choices through Affirm. Drawbacks Even in the plus-sized area, bra sizing only extends to D-cup. Can be seen as costly. After weighing the benefits and drawbacks, we’ll focus this Hanky Panky underwear review on the items that we know you’re interested in learning more about. We’ve highlighted a few highlights from this company’s panty and bralette categories, but they have a far bigger range online, so be sure to look them up! The contents of the pages might surprise you at any time. Hanky Panky Underwear This brand provides a range of designs and colors and offers sizes 2–12 in their standard assortment and an additional 14–24 in their plus-size department. Any goods you select from this firm will be comfortable. For you to get a brief taste of what Hanky Panky has to offer, we’ve put up a fast selection of some of our top bestseller designs. These durable pantyhose are exceptionally simple to maintain because they are made of nylon and spandex. This pistachio-colored pair adds some excitement to an often dull piece of apparel thanks to its gorgeous rose lace design. If you’re going to dress up, make it enjoyable! Well, this Fanatics review scoured their website to find out which jerseys, swag, and shirts customers love most, and why this brand is their go-to store for all their team spirit needs. Fanatics Arizona Cardinals G-III Sports by Carl Banks Primary Logo Full-Zip Hoodie Cardinal Though they’re one of the oldest teams in the NFL, the Cardinals haven’t always been bringing in the wins. But hey, when you’re part of the Bird Gang, you’re in for life. With an 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend, you can’t go wrong. This long sleeve pullover sweatshirt is available in sizes S-5XL for $36. The Bottom Line As a sports gear store well known for its epic promotions, sales, and discounts, not to mention its quality sports apparel and legitimately produced team swag, it’s hard to say Fanatics isn’t worth the investment. All of us sports fans know that classic team gear comes at a price (one that’s never cheap), but this company has redirected that stereotype. By offering customers well-made team designs in a vast array of sizes, shapes, and styles, they don’t leave anyone out. They just leave out the high price. Considering how widely available they are, plus their bounty of great Fanatics reviews and their FanCash rewards program, we’d have to say that, yep, they’re worth it!

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING A RUGGABLE RUG If you’ve ever deep-cleaned a rug by hand or sprung for a professional carpet cleaner, you’ve probably also wished that you could just throw your rug in the washing machine. Ruggable rugs let you do just that: All of the brand’s rugs are entirely machine washable. Ruggable started with a simple idea. In 2010, Jeneva Bell had the thought to create a washable and more liveable carpet rug. After a few different approaches, she created and patented this genius 2-piece rug system. You don’t have to be in the over 30 club to appreciate this one, though I’ve noticed my love for home-building has noticeably increased over the past few years. Working with certified suppliers in Germany, Mexico, Korea, and China, Ruggable rugs are made-to-order and packaged in Los Angeles and Chicago. No matter who is having an accident, it’s easy and quick to clean up spills and messes. “With three small kids and a dog, our throw rugs get trashed. Aurate New York Featured Image

Jewelry to Fit Every Budget, Occasion & Taste Aurate creates handcrafted, contemporary luxury jewelry in New York City. In the end, the business is able to cut out the middlemen and avoid charging import duties, resulting in excellent jewelry that is more reasonably priced. The brand’s affordability is undoubtedly something that makes them even more appealing in the Aurate vs. Mejuri argument. Their jewelry is crafted with 14k gold, 18k gold, and 14k gold-plated vermeil and is ethically sourced and produced. Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The New York Times, and Marie Claire all highlight Aurate New York. They teamed up with the actress Kerry Washington, who collaborated with the company and unveiled her own line. On AurateNewYork.com, type “KERRY” to find the Aurate New York Kerry Washington collection. In order to help you determine if Aurate jewelry is perfect for you, this analysis of the company will examine the finer points, give an overview of their best-selling items, and more. The Story of Aurate In 2015, Sophie Kahn and Bouchra Essahraoui, the brand’s creators, saw a need in the market for modern, exquisite jewelry and launched Aurate. Bouchra’s expertise in finance and Sophie’s background in fashion both benefited the two friends in creating their now prosperous company. In order to promote and strengthen the growing literacy and imagination of children in need throughout US schools, Aurate donates thousands of books. This is because they believe in the value of “paying it forward.” The company is clear about the origins of its materials, and by this we don’t only mean the quality of its diamonds. Additionally, they started the business utilizing solely 100% recycled gold. Then, Aurate adapted that technique to their diamonds and other stones. Aurate considers itself a jewelry brand with excellent ethics since they use materials like pearls from family-run farms that have been ethically and sustainably grown. Some of the benefits and drawbacks of the line will be highlighted in this Aurate jewelry review… Benefits Various vintage and modern jewelry designs. Sustainable production and ethical sourcing. More reasonably priced than rivals. Affirm offers choices for installment payments. Uses priceless diamonds and repurposed gold. Donates books to underfund US schools via the Mastery Charter. Drawbacks Some clients complain about lengthy shipment periods and difficulties reaching customer support. Simple, timeless jewelry may dress up casual clothes or an outfit for the office. Aurate creates both traditional and contemporary pieces using vermeil, 14- or 18-karat yellow, rose, or white gold. We provide you a close-up look at some of Aurate’s most popular goods, such as rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, to make it easier for you to choose pieces that complement your own style. Aurate Rings With Aurate Rings, traditional elegance combines with contemporary flair. Aurate has skillfully made their rings with 14k Gold Plated Vermeil, 14k Gold, and 18k Gold whether you’re looking for daily jewelry or the next big ring to go with your special occasion outfit. Two of Aurate’s most popular ring designs are seen in this jewelry review, which highlights the company’s focus on the little things, understated aesthetic, and classic beauty. Stackable Ring Elegant and understated describe the Aurate Stackable Ring. It’s tiny, light, and hardly noticeable, yet it gives your finger a little touch of glitz. Layering this band on top of a thicker ring, such as the Infinity Ring, gives a sleek and contemporary appearance because it was designed to be stacked. For an even more outlandish appearance, you could want to wear the stackable ring above the knuckle. This dainty ring is made for stacking and is available in 14k and 18k gold. The Stackable Ring costs $75 (3 payments of $25 for 14K Gold) or $110 (3 payments of $37). (18K Gold). Infinity Ring The Aurate Infinity Ring is a statement-making power item for your finger. Its circumference includes ridges cut vertically every 2mm, which catches the light and makes it even more eye-catching. This Lord of the Rings allusion in this Aurate jewelry review is unavoidable: don’t be shocked if your relatives and friends want to take this eye-catching item and start referring to it as my precious. There are many variations and pricing ranges for Aurate’s Infinity Ring… 14k Gold-Plated Vermeil – $125 or 3 interest-free Affirm installments of $40. 18k Gold – $1400 or starting at $88 monthly payments. 14k Gold – $950 or 3 installments of $317. Aurate Necklaces Your regular outfit for work, home, or special occasions may become luxurious with the perfect necklace. Aurate’s goal to produce subtle pieces with just the right amount of glitz is clearly visible in their distinctive necklace designs. These gorgeous Aurate necklaces, centered on class, humility, and beauty, are made of 14k or 18k Gold. Herringbone Chain Necklace The slinky Gold Herringbone Chain Necklace is reminiscent of 1970s style. This Aurate jewelry review believes that it also works well as a staple necklace for every day wear and that it would look fantastic combined with a similarly silky slip dress. The 18-inch chain is connected by angled, crossing links, which adds a little more shine and draws attention to your lovely neck. A lobster clasp and a jump are used to fasten the chain, adding further security. In maintaining the chain flat when not wearing it, you should strive to avoid bending it, according to this Aurate jewelry review. Vermeil is used in this item, which is available in 4mm or 5mm widths. Get this beauty for $280 over 3 payments of $94 each. Gold Bar Necklace The chicest, most casually cool woman is frequently seen wearing a gold bar necklace. It exudes bravado with a touch of bad-girl. The Aurate Gold Bar Necklace may be worn alone to spruce up an all-black ensemble or combined with other pieces to create a layering set. An adjustable gold chain with a slender, glittering gold bar hanging from it is the necklace (15-18 inches). A spring-ring clasp with two jump rings for adjusting the length holds the chain in place. THE BEST SHOE BRANDS

Whether running, walking, hiking, or strutting, the simple fact of the matter is we all tend to spend a good portion of the day sporting a pair of shoes. This can be hit or miss depending on the pair (we’ve all had the blister to prove it). So, rather than going for chance, we’re choosing our destiny by looking at the best shoe brands on the market. What constitutes the best? We’re looking not only at style here, but weight, range, price, and most importantly (in our books) reputation and durability. No one wants to spend a boatload on a pair of shoes that only last a year. We want that high-quality material made to run every day with ease. We’ll be the first to admit that many on the list will be ones likely heard of before, but hey, they have a reputation for a reason. We’ll be breaking down just why those brands are seen as the top and why a few other lesser-known names are right up there with them.  Nike Nike has been a household name since 1964 when track coach Bill Bowerman originally launched it under a different name (Blue Ribbon Sports anyone?). Outlets popped up within two years and it didn’t take long for this store to expand to branded shoes, clothing, and accessories. Fitting the bill for any person of any size, age, gender, and race, this brand is all about bringing people together through physical activity. Best known for their classic logo appearing on shoes and apparel, Nike truly is a brand many have grown up with, making it all the more important to see them turn their goals towards sustainability and zero carbon emissions. While there’s definitely a higher end of the spectrum, their most expensive shoe prices do tend to equate to other top brands on the market and their lower-end pricing makes a big difference to those who don’t have the budget for those bigger costs. Adidas Where there is Nike, there tends to be Adidas. These three stripes have made their own place in the world for a classic everyday look that offers solid support. Known for their durable designs, Adidas has become synonymous with strong sneakers, but let’s get into exactly why that is. Adidas joined the world from Germany in 1949, founded by Adi Dassler with a shoe that highlighted the classic three stripes. By 1954, this company made their name by introducing lightweight football shoes with screw-in studs that later took the national football team to the world cup. With a victory behind their brand, it wasn’t long before Adidas began popping up in every store. Focusing on sports and activity bringing better experiences to life, this brand is all about togetherness and clean living for people and the planet. Converse One of the oldest names in the game, Converse has a long and winding history leading to that All-Star patch we’ve all grown so fond of. A staple of the teen (and adult) years, the shape and style now seen as a classic originally began not in the realm of lifestyle shoes, but instead intended for sports. Born of the Converse Rubber Company (that first launched in 1908), the shoe as we know it today first appeared in 1917 making its way from the stylized tennis shoe into a basketball shoe that would sweep the courts. Due to the traditional diamond tread, players had traction to move in all directions, turning with ease as the four corners of the design allowed. Add in the ankle protection from the inner heel pad and these shoes definitely had an edge over the competition. The best part about these shoes comes from the price. Despite their well-known name and popular style, they haven’t gone crazy with costs. This may in part be due to their buyout from Nike, but costs tend to exist in a similar spectrum from $50 to $140. Reebok We’re adding another brand run by one of the top contenders to this list. While owned by Adidas, we feel that Reebok stands on their own as an entry for one of the best shoe brands for style and pricing alone.  Entering the market from the UK in 1958, this business worked their way up from founder Joe Foster’s original vision of tackling the athletics market. Initially inspired by designs from Adidas and Puma, this company understood that the European shoe market already had viable contenders for sports shoes, so they aimed to take over the US industry from day one. Introducing a female aerobics shoe was a great start to finding that traction. Now aiming to reach 100% sustainability by 2030, Reebok has yet to let their new ownership slow their goals or passion for the work they create. They continue to release innovative designs, leading to an inventory that ranges in cost from $50 to $650 depending on the style and exclusivity of the designs available. Maintaining some fashions with neutral tones, this brand has also proven they’re not afraid to get a little crazy with pattern and style, leading to a loyal following over the years. New Balance Another name to make history, New Balance came to play in 1906 and has been dominating the game ever since. Despite the early start, this business didn’t actually begin making shoes until the 1930s, focusing on arch support and fitting accessories prior to that.  The introduction of athletic footwear and new ownership in the 1950s later led to the creation of both the ripple sole and a variety in shoe width that they’re known for today. Since then, this brand has expanded beyond a simple sneaker into a world of sports shoes and attire categorized by every athletic event one could think to try. Adding in recent accessories and gear, New Balance aims to be something of a one-stop-shop for athletic wear and gear to get people active and appropriately dressed for the occasion. THE BEST AIR JORDANS OF ALL TIME: RISK-TAKING, HISTORY-MAKING, AND RIOT-STARTING

Ever since Michael Jordan sported that first pair of Nike sneakers back in 1984, playing for the Chicago Bulls and just starting to get people’s attention as basketball’s next big star, Jordans have been capturing the imagination of sneaker wearers around the world. No other shoe has the same cult-like status and global following. Perhaps you’re a total b-ball nerd who’s watched and re-watched every memorable Michael Jordan moment out there. Or maybe everything you know about MJ comes from Netflix’s The Last Dance. Either way, you’ll be aware that (a) the man plays basketball like no one else on Earth and (b) he takes footwear seriously. Today, there are 35 different Air Jordan models available, not counting countless colorways, collaborations, limited editions, and retro Jordans. From 90s street style staples and on-court speed-optimized kicks to high-fashion collabs, there are Jordans out there for every mood, taste, and event. We’ve put together a list of what can be considered the most iconic, popular, innovative, high-performing, and generally best Jordans of all time by release dates. These are the luxury sneakers that have made the footwear line the runaway success it is today. The Jordans that get people excited about Jordans. The Michael Jordan shoes that have basically defined sneakers as we know them in the 21st century. The Air Jordan I is the shoe that not only started the obsession with Air Jordans that continues today but also created major controversy when its black and red color combination broke the NBA’s 51% white regulation regarding sneakers. Air Jordan II: Released in 1986 Consider the elegant Air Jordan II one of the line’s most luxurious models. It was the first of all Michael Jordan shoes to use deluxe details such as faux-lizard skin, for example, and features brogue-like perforations and Italian craftsmanship, lending it some serious upscale panache. With these nods to high-end fashion (and a higher price tag), this exclusive sneaker was one of the first to straddle the worlds of sportswear and the red carpet. The Air Jordan II can definitely be worn with a tux and is also available as a pair of low-top Jordans. Air Jordan III: Released in 1988 The Air Jordan I might take pride of place in any sneakerhead’s collection but the Air Jordan III is pretty revolutionary too. This was the first design by Tinker Hatfield, athlete and architect turned sneaker taste-maker. Air Jordan IV: Released in 1989 Another pair of Air Jordans to feature on the big screen, the Air Jordan IV starred in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing. What makes the IVs some of the best Jordans of all time? Lots of things but mostly the lacing support system, known as ‘wings’, which can be customized according to the wearer’s specific preferences. These were the first pair of Air Jordans with a global release, cementing the shoe’s superstar status. The Pure Money all-white colorway, in particular, was one of the most popular Jordan shoes ever when it was released in 2006. Air Jordan V: Released in 1990 Taking inspiration from a WW2 Mustang fighter jet, the Air Jordan V is as fierce, determined, and uncompromising as MJ himself. The sneaker features smooth leather and nubuck, mesh side panels, and shark-tooth shapes on the midsole. The fact that these sneakers were worn by Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air probably also contributed to making them fan favorites and some of the most popular Jordans around today. Air Jordan VI: Released in 1991 The Air Jordan 6 is all about speed and superlative performance. Every detail has been considered for game-optimization, from the two grip holes on the tongue for easy entry to the neoprene sleeve lining, boosting comfort and minimizing the risk of blisters. Apparently, the sneaker was inspired by Michael Jordan’s Porsche 911 and the star won his first championship title with a pair of these ultra-cool creations on his feet, making it hands-down one of the best Jordan shoes of all time. Air Jordan XI: Released in 1995 Another game-changing, risk-taking, and ground-breaking design, the Air Jordan XI found its way onto the court back in May 1995 as part of the NBA playoffs and quickly became a pop culture favorite after starring (alongside MJ) in the cult classic sci-fi animation Space Jam. Its release in the black-and-white Concord colorway infamously led to fights and riots across America as people tried to get their hands on a pair. Proof, if you needed it, that this is one of the most popular Jordan shoes ever. The model is also available as a pair of low-top Jordans. Air Jordan XVIII: Released in 2003 One of the most traffic-stopping and attention-grabbing sneakers of all times, the XVIII was worn by Jordan during his final farewell in Washington in 2003. It featured a driving shoe heel—another reference to the star’s penchant for ultra-fast cars—and came with a towel, brush, and driver’s manual. Then there was the vamp cover—more like something you’d find on a deluxe Italian dress shoe. Definitely a pair of sneakers that no one will forget for a while. Air Jordan XX3: Released in 2008 Given that it was the same number he wore on the court, the 23rd model in Michael Jordan’s shoe line was always going to be extra special. And the XX3 truly is a masterpiece. The ultimate sneaker for die-hard MJ fans, the stitching is meant to represent Michael Jordan’s DNA pattern and you’ll also find the player’s thumbprint embossed on the rear and his autograph on the toe. As part of the trend for more eco-friendly sneakers (with Allbirds leading the way), the XX3 is also made using as little toxins, waste, and bi-products as possible. Air Jordan XX8: Released in 2013 A newer but no less celebrated edition to the AJ line, the XX8 was endorsed by Russell Westbrook, the basketball superstar known for his flashy dunks and explosive style. This is a show-stopping sneaker that takes no prisoners style or function-wise

THE 5 BEST SNEAKER BRANDS YOU CAN BUY IN 2022

There was a time not so very long ago when attending a special event in a pair of sneakers was a sure-fire way to flag yourself to your shiny-shoed peers as a sartorial pariah. However, sneakers are now en vogue, with the best sneaker brands constantly innovating new and stylish footwear. Attitudes have shifted in unforeseen ways and what was once the scruffy outlier is now the footwear gold standard. The transition from running track to the runway has been a slow and gradual one, but in recent years it has reached a crescendo; a crescendo that looks set to blare on indefinitely. This is thanks in no small part to a number of key designers and best sneaker brands who have been pushing footwear to its limits in every conceivable direction. Some have created white leather kicks that look right at home with tailoring. Others are inventing technology that might as well have come straight out of a lab at Area 51 (or just Back to the Future). Meanwhile, there are those who have elevated the sneaker from its utilitarian roots to the absolute pinnacle of high fashion it is today. Here we take a look at the most influential sneaker brands in the world right now and what they’re doing to help elevate the world’s favorite footwear. NIKE Yeah, in 2016 Nike really did go back to the future and produced Marty McFly’s self-lacing sneakers. But this is just one instance when the brand seemingly reached through a tear in spacetime and brought us something directly from the future, making it the biggest trendsetter in sneakers and a reliable barometer for what’s around the corner. Founded in 1964 by University of Oregon track-and-field coach Bill Bowerman, the brand has a long track record of world-beating performance footwear as well as technological innovation (Flyknit uppers and NikeID personalization in the last decade). More than that, Nike knows how to create products that live up to their considerable hype. It has more icons in its back catalog than any other sneaker brand. Air Max, Air Force 1, and Air Jordan are all sneaker dynasties in their own right and go back further and you’ll find even more classic retro sneakers like the Cortez and the Blazer. Still the most recognizable. Still the most wanted. Still, the ones to beat. ADIDAS The ongoing technological arms race between the world’s sneaker brands the big hitters has produced some of the boldest innovations in footwear. Luckily for us, it doesn’t show any sign of letting up. Ask any sneakerhead on the street who’s in pole position, and they’ll tell you it’s Nike. However, with featherlight materials and mind-bending sole technology, it could be easily argued that good old three-stripes are manoeuvring for an overtake. Established in 1949, Adidas has become a global phenomenon led by science. There are the beloved classics — the Superstar, Stan Smith, and Gazelle all come to mind — and they’re not going away, but in recent years the brand’s R&D lab has become the sneaker world’s Q branch. Forget the Yeezy collab, it was the Ultra-Boost that changed the game, and most recently, the German sports giant has been experimenting with 3D printing as a production method for ground-breaking webbed sole units. Don’t take your eyes off them for a second. CONVERSE It’s incredible (and slightly terrifying) to think about how much the world has evolved in the last 100 years. Commercial flight, television, mobile phones, and the internet are just a few of the inventions that have revolutionized the way we live. With that in mind, it’s a real triumph of design when something introduced a century ago is still being used globally today. Converse’s famous high-top, the Chuck Taylor All Star, is one such item. Born in 1917, the iconic basketball shoe has remained 99.9 percent unchanged and is now the best-selling shoe in the US, UK, and far beyond. Yes, this sneaker brand has other excellent shoes, like the Run Star Motion and the Chuck 70s, but this is arguably the most iconic sneaker ever made. And what’s more, it’s for everyone. COMMON PROJECTS When luxury New York sneaker brand Common Projects first introduced its Achilles Low model in 2004, the menswear world went mad for it. But why? Was it innovative? No. Was it next-level comfortable? Hardly. Did it come in at bargain prices? Quite the opposite. This shoe was nothing more than a plain, leather sneaker. However, the thing that had the fash pack fawning over this minimalist trainer was that every little detail was meticulously executed to the nth degree. This was a sneaker created like an Oxford shoe handcrafted in Northamptonshire. Buttery Italian leather, exquisite streamlined shapeliness, and timeless wearability made each pair the perfect accompaniment to anything from a suit to shorts. It arguably started today’s thriving luxury sneaker market, and all of this, in a world now dominated by Balenciaga beetle-crushers, is not to be taken for granted. NEW BALANCE As time marches on, there are fewer and fewer brands willing to take a financial bullet in the name of quality craftsmanship and have products manufactured on home turf. When talking about sneaker companies, the numbers are lower still. That’s what makes New Balance one of the best in the game. Not only is the Bostonian firm responsible for some of the comfiest and most iconic running shoes ever made since 1906, but it also produces its premium range half in the US and half in the UK’s Lake District in factories staffed with highly trained craftspeople.

THE BEST SUEDE SHIRTS TO BUY IN 2026

Oxford cloth, poplin, linen, flannel. Maybe even corduroy if you’ve really got your finger on the pulse. These tend to be the go-to fabrics when we find ourselves in the market for a new shirt, and unless you’re a cattle rancher from the late 19th century, suede probably doesn’t even cross your mind. It may be more commonly used for footwear and that waistcoat your weird uncle always wears, but it’s a mistake to rule suede out when it comes to shirting. This soft, tactile fabric is easy on the eye, pleasing to the touch, excellent at holding colour, and can really add a dash of depth and texture to an otherwise unnoteworthy outfit. Trouble is, good suede shirts are hard to come by and even trickier to style. Taking sartorial cues from the wild west and pulling it off is always going to be a tall order. However, with a little guidance and the right labels at your disposal, there’s no reason not to lasso yourself one of these frontier favourites. HOW TO WEAR A SUEDE SHIRT For all its plus points, suede isn’t the sort of material you want right next to your skin. It’s heavy, terrible at allowing moisture to escape and can become stiff and awkward when damp. For these reasons, it’s best suited for use as an overshirt. Particularly in the autumn and winter months. That’s fine, though, because that’s what a suede shirt is best at; it’s a born layering piece. Throw it over a T-shirt, another shirt, or perhaps a hoodie. Wear it open or closed, under a winter coat, or on top as a standalone piece. Wear it any which way you see fit, but always, always, team it up with some sort of base layer. An additional caveat when it comes to wearing suede is to steer clear of too much texture. Suede is a complex fabric with a lot of tones and plenty of depth. It shouldn’t be fighting anything else with those characteristics for attention. A pair of corduroy trousers or a shearling jacket, for example. That’s not to say that tactile fabrics are off the menu altogether, though. Just make sure they offer enough contrast. A rough, wool coat or some heavy gauge knitwear, for example can work to balance out the smoothness and softness of the suede, accentuating its presence within a look. Legwear-wise, we’d opt for either dark indigo denim jeans or cropped wool trousers. The former if you’re thinking casual, and the latter if you want to be a little bit more dressed up. Top it off with either canvas sneakers or black Derby shoes respectively. WEAR IT WITH: THE BEST BRANDS FOR SUEDE SHIRTS ARKET The Swedes can always be counted on for a tasteful overshirt or two and Arket is a prime example. The H&M-owned store has only been on the scene for a couple of years, but has already established itself as the go-to spot on the high street for stylish, stripped-back shirt jackets. Even suede ones. REISS If there was a pyramid hierarchy of high-street shops, Reiss would be sitting right at the very top. It’s a bit more expensive than your Zaras and Uniqlo’s, but that’s reflected in the quality. Premium materials like suede and leather feature heavily in the label’s output, while sleek styling and fitted cuts provide the brand with its signature look. NN07 Considering that the “NN” in NN07 stands for “no nationality” we feel a tad shady for blowing its cover and revealing that the label is, in fact, from Denmark. Still, if you know your Scandinavian menswear, you’ll know that the Danes are all about mixing classic and contemporary, and filtering it all through that trademark minimalist lens. Expect versatile, simplistic pieces, updated with the odd modern twist. TOM FORD If money were no object, we’d all be walking around dripping head to toe in Tom Ford. The reality is, sadly, that very few of us can afford too. Still, if you’re lucky enough to be blessed with a six-figure salary, there are few designers better equipped to deliver the goods when it comes to sourcing the perfect – and we mean perfect – suede shirt. RALPH LAUREN We’ve never been lucky enough to take a sneak peek inside Mr Ralph Lauren’s wardrobe, but we’d hazard a guess that there are more than a just a handful of suede shirts hanging up in there. This classic American throwback piece is emblematic of Ralph Lauren as a brand and everything it does so well. It’s smart yet casual, eye-catching yet subtle, premium yet laid back. A lot of money, but most definitely worth the investment. JAEGER Premium British high-street brand Jaeger has been around since the late 1800s, but probably isn’t the first place on your shopping list unless you’re a 75-year-old woman from Hampstead. You’d do well to cast your preconceptions aside, though, because the traditionally ‘twinset-and-pearls’ type label actually makes some highly serviceable contemporary menswear, with high-quality suede shirts being no exception. GAP It may have peaked in the ‘90s, but American mainstay Gap is still making some of the finest wardrobe staples on the high street, and at prices that won’t leave a hole in your pocket. From affordable selvedge denim to wallet-friendly suede shirts, this is ageless casualwear that’s built to last. See? It’s not all logo hoodies and bright yellow capri pants after all. VALSTAR Best known for its sporty take on the classic A-1 flight jacket, Valstar is an Italian brand with a pedigree in producing luxurious outerwear and shirting. Couple this with the fact that suede has long been one of the label’s signature fabrics and, well, you can see where this is going. Expect simple styling, exceptional materials and craftsmanship, and price points to match.

THE BEST HOODIES FOR MEN IN 2026

It’s difficult to think of anyone item of clothing that has had quite as colourful a history as the humble hoodie. Over the past century, this sportswear staple has gone from playing field to the runway, stopping off at every conceivable urban subculture along the way. It’s been name-checked by prime ministers, designers and screeching Daily Mail editorials, and has even been banned in some parts of the western world for brief periods of time, all thanks to its street associations. It’s come a long way since Champion invented it for its laborers. Today, the best hoodies for men are enjoying a golden era of acceptance. Just as with Elvis, denim jeans, electronic music and all other aspects of youth culture that initially made grown-ups nervous, everyone has now calmed down and said a collective, “You know what? Maybe a sweatshirt with a hood on the back isn’t inherently evil after all.” About time too, because cool hoodies are truly a wonder garment. They’re functional, comfortable and stylish in equal measures. And now, thanks to fashion’s ongoing steamy love affair with streetwear, it’s also banging on-trend. “The hoodie epitomizes streetwear,” says fashion designer Gordon Richardson, former creative director of Topman. “What began as a trend in the 1990s has developed into a global phenomenon because of its versatility and comfort.” There aren’t many items of menswear that work for a hungover afternoon of Netflix, streetwear stunting, a hobble back home from the gym and an athleisure-ly stroll around the city. But the hoodie has you covered for all of them, and even smarter outfits, too. “As the hoodie has become a wardrobe staple, big brands are listening to their market. Guys aren’t afraid to splash the cash on designer sportswear now, and mixing track tops or joggers with tailoring has become a trend in recent years,” says Richardson. In a hurry? Comfortable and versatile, you can slip these hoodies under a denim jacket or unstructured blazer. Some off the best brands to buy hoodies from NIKE Few brands have the sporting heritage that Nike can shout about so its sweats and gym wear have more authenticity than most. The famous swoosh is almost always present in melange or loopback cotton for maximum comfort. A fine top-layer above jeans or joggers, they will also slip very nicely under a biker, trucker or bomber jacket. ADIDAS Like Nike’s, Adidas’ hoodies for men benefit from decades of sporting design and instantly recognizable branding. Whether you go opt for the brand’s famous three stripes or trefoil motif, you’re wearing a classic. The brand does pretty much every style of hoodie imaginable, from pouch pockets to zip-ups, oversized to longline. They’re all great. CHAMPION Heritage American sportswear label Champion has been doing the hoodie thing for longer than pretty much anyone else. It’s produced kits for the NFL, the NBA and the US Olympic basketball team. In a crowded market, this is an undisputed MVP brand. Champion is well-known for its patented ‘reverse-weave’ cotton, which uses unique fabric construction and panelled side inserts to eliminate the risk of shrinkage. Needless to say, its hoodies are some of the best around. The OODIE – BT21 Koya The BT21 KOYA Oodie is a dream come true for BT21 fans and anyone who loves to relax. Inspired by KOYA, the sleepy blue koala from the BT21 universe, this officially licensed Oodie combines a fun character design with the unparalleled comfort the brand is known for. The extra-large hood, comfortable fit, and huge pocket make it perfect for relaxing, movie nights, or simply snuggling up on a cold day. STUSSY When it comes to cool streetwear hoodies, why look further than one of the leaders in the game? Stussy is one of the oldest names in the business and widely credited with starting the scene pretty much single-handedly with styles designed for skaters and surfers alike. The hoodie is one of Shawn Stussy’s eponymous brand’s staple items, appearing season after season since day one. Expect bold branding, bright colors, contemporary styling and street cred in abundance. CARHARTT American heritage workwear label Carhartt has a long-standing reputation for wearability and ruggedness, but in recent years, especially with the introduction of its ‘Work in Progress’ line, it’s become known for its streetwear styling too. Those combined factors make it one of the best options for finding a hoodie as hard-wearing as it is stylish. For workwear meets urban cool, nowhere does it better. COMME DES GARCONS Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garcons has long been known in fashion circles for its forward-thinking approach to design and cutting-edge seasonal collections that
