Watch Review: Shinola Detroit Runwell Station Agent with Swiss Automatic Movement

Watch Review: Shinola Detroit Runwell Station Agent with Swiss Automatic Movement

Shinola, based in Detroit, launched the original Runwell watch about a decade ago. At the time, Shinola made headlines by announcing that its watches were now manufactured in Detroit, thanks to a major investment by Bedrock (the holding company) in an impressive factory near downtown Detroit. Shinola, a modern company founded by experts with deep knowledge of brand building and distribution to American customers, wasn’t originally conceived as a watch manufacturer for enthusiasts. Ten years later, much has changed. Shinola has refined and improved its products while expanding its technical expertise. The company’s employees began by assembling Swiss Ronda quartz movements and have since mastered the assembly of Swiss mechanical movements. This Shinola Runwell Station Agent, which I’m testing today, features a Sellita automatic movement, which is installed and tested in Detroit. I recently visited the factory and witnessed the watch being assembled. The factory, in my opinion, was very similar to those found in Europe or Asia. It was heartwarming to see workers in watchmaking smocks, all of whom were fellow Americans, sitting at the workbenches—a new experience for me. I also saw how Shinola produces its leather watch straps in-house. This process results in the highest-quality straps on the market. Even if you’re not interested in Shinola watches, you can still enjoy the brand with its high-quality, American-made straps. The Shinola Runwell Station Agent represents the latest look and feel of the Runwell while paying homage to a style that has remained largely unchanged since the brand’s inception. This visual impression begins with a 45mm-wide, pocket-watch-style case and a wall-clock-style dial that feels friendly, familiar, and in keeping with the American mid-century aesthetic. The Runwell was a thoughtfully designed watch that stood the test of time and benefited from numerous improvements. This Runwell Station Agent is robust and durable. The case is superbly polished, and the details appear more premium than the retail price would suggest. At under $1,500, it’s truly great value. The name “Station Agent” (which comes from the station attendants who escorted countless passengers to their destinations every day during busy times in American history) is synonymous with the new Runwell Automatic collection, which features a small seconds dial (instead of a central seconds hand). This gives it a more refined look and more effectively connects a central part of the design to the look of classic pocket watches. The small dial is slightly recessed and features a snail-shaped finish. The rest of the dial details are also excellent, including the shape of the date window (which doesn’t obstruct the 3 o’clock indicator) and the length of the hands. Shinola currently produces the Runwell Station Agent in off-white, but more colors will follow later in 2023. Although somewhat atypical for the brand given its focus on in-house straps, Shinola does offer a strap for the Runwell Station Agent that I think complements this case well. Above the dial is a slightly domed sapphire crystal, which does create a bit of glare, but isn’t too bad. If you don’t like the 45mm wide case, you should know that Shinola also makes a smaller version of the Runwell. Even so, the watch doesn’t feel overly bulky. The case is only 12mm thick (excluding lugs), and the lug spacing is just under 50mm. This means it wears rather understated for a 45mm width. The rounded and polished steel case has a slim bezel, providing ample space for the elegant dial. The hour markers and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, and the matte black outer hands offer excellent legibility and contrast with the main dial. (Shinola refers to this creamy shade as “vellum.”) The small seconds dial also helps maximize the dial space—a designer’s homage to classic American watches. Attached to the case is a 22 mm wide, Detroit-made brown leather strap with what Shinola calls “Cattail Grizzly” texture. Conveniently, the strap is equipped with quick-release spring bars, allowing for easy attachment of additional straps to the Station Agent watch. Although the case has a screw-down crown, it is only water-resistant to 50 meters. I suspect this is because the caseback is screw-down (for style reasons). I would like to see Shinola increase the Runwell’s water resistance to 100 meters in the future, but that’s a minor point. Through the caseback, you can admire the automatic mechanical movement, featuring a custom black Shinola automatic rotor and the company’s lightning bolt logo. The movement of the Runwell Station Agent is a Swiss Sellita caliber SW260-1 automatic. It’s essentially the SW200 with the addition of a seconds hand. It operates at 4 Hz and offers a power reserve of approximately two days. The movement is also assembled in Switzerland, but Shinola encases and tests it at its Detroit facility. While it’s not a purely American movement, I believe it’s just as emotionally satisfying as one. It combines functionality with the reliability of the movement, which most consumers will likely appreciate. For years, I’ve seen Shinola Runwell quartz watches on the wrists of people who loved the brand. With its automatic models in improved products like the Runwell Station Agent, Shinola has now opened the world of its most popular watch collection to more enthusiasts. The brand is continually offering more American-made mechanical watches alongside its now well-known American-made quartz movements. Of course, there are now entire Shinola model collections that contain exclusively mechanical watches. The Shinola Runwell Station Agent is a conservative vintage-style watch designed to celebrate a sense of nostalgic Americana and tell an authentic story about the urban revival of metropolitan Detroit. This story will certainly appeal to some consumers more than others, but I think there’s plenty of opportunity in the US to make such a product a huge success. Despite being a newer model, Shinola has been successful with it. As a simple yet beautiful everyday watch or gift, the Runwell Station Agent is a truly beautiful piece from Shinola. The price (each piece has a unique serial number) is $1,450. Conclusion: A solid introduction to

Review: Cozey Ciello XL Couch

Review: Cozey Ciello XL Couch

I’ve had many a huge package arrive on my doorstep. It’s part of my job. But despite checking the dimensions and making every effort to prepare myself, I was unprepared for the delivery of the Cozey Ciello XL Couch. This sofa is huge. The dimensions vary depending on the configuration (more on that later), but mine measures 370 x 174 x 68 cm – and that’s without the optional storage ottoman. Each sofa section comes in its own box, and mine had so many that I could lie down completely on them. A piece of furniture this large inevitably has its flaws, but overall, the Cozey Ciello XL is perfectly fine – provided it meets your needs. Modern and modular One of the biggest advantages of this sofa is its customizability. It’s available in three performance fabric colors and two chenille colors. I tested the sofa in the gray performance fabric for almost two months. You can order a free sample book to help you figure out which fabric you’d like. I recommend having a partner or friend help you assemble it. Once you get used to it, assembling the sofa is a breeze—even easier than some smaller boxed sofas I’ve tried. The covers and hardware come in the hollow seat, backrest, or armrest. We configured our sofa, assembling it piece by piece, and then slotting the pieces together. It can be a little tricky to align the brackets perfectly when inserting them, but with a little time, you should be able to do it. Be prepared to disassemble a lot of cardboard afterward. The performance fabric is fine. It feels a bit scratchy, but it’s easy to clean, and thanks to the removable cushions, you can practically throw the sofa in the washing machine. The sofa didn’t have any unpleasant odor and was quite comfortable right from the start. Which brings me to my next point: How comfortable is it, really? The best nap of my life I’m an awkward sitter. I’m constantly twisting myself, sagging my limbs over furniture, and folding my legs while shifting in the seat. With the Cozey Ciello XL, this is both very easy and very difficult. The sofa’s seats are great, but they sound a bit wrinkled. They’re deep and comfortable, provided you sit directly on the seat and not across two (in which case, the rigid structure underneath makes you feel like you’re being split in half). Unless you’re particularly tall, your legs and/or feet will dangle if you slide all the way back. The back cushions leave a lot to be desired. The backrest and armrests are very boxy and low, making it a bit uncomfortable to slide backward and try to put an arm over the backrest. The seat cushions also tend to slide forward, away from the back cushions, and the back and arm cushions don’t quite stay in place. That’s why I spent a lot of time rearranging the sofa instead of just sitting on it. This exact design issue causes you to sink into the person sitting next to each other when you sit next to each other. While there’s more than enough room for two people at opposite ends of the sofa, I should still be able to sit next to someone without invading their privacy. When I’ve tried to nap on the couch, I’ve had mixed results. Sometimes I accidentally sleep six hours instead of one. Sometimes it’s just too lumpy, or the cushions have shifted, and I wake up with a stiff neck and a sore back from practically sleeping on the sofa frame rather than the cushions. Sofas, especially oversized ones, are designed for relaxing. I don’t necessarily find the Cozey Ciello XL uncomfortable, but for the price, I expected to be thrilled—and I wasn’t. The sofa’s design is also a bit uninspired. If something takes up this much space, it should look a bit more appealing. The hard edges and oversized cushions don’t catch the eye. When I push the ottoman up against the sofa, forming a large, homey-looking square, it feels almost intimidating to sit down and get comfortable. And it shouldn’t! Sofas are supposed to be inviting. I think this would be a great option for large families who like to snuggle together and watch movies with lots of blankets and pillows. But if you’re having friends over and they’re not into platonic cuddling, it might not be the best sofa on the market. If it sounds like my opinion is mixed, that’s because it is. The Cozey Ciello XL was easy to assemble, and the configuration could easily be adjusted later. It’s robust. It’s sturdy and durable, and the performance fabric is easy to clean. The biggest wow factor, however, is its size. If I were to try this sofa in a smaller version, I probably wouldn’t like it. But again, if you have a large family or want a statement sofa (and don’t mind throwing a few blankets over it), this could definitely be an option worth trying. Conclusion The Cozey Ciello XL couch is a statement in size and functionality. With its modular, easy-to-assemble design and generous seating, it’s an excellent option for large households or those who enjoy cozying up for movie nights. The performance fabric is practical, easy-care, and durable, and the flexible configuration ensures long-term value. However, the comfort doesn’t quite match the enormous footprint. The cushions can shift, the design feels a bit rigid, and the overall aesthetic lacks warmth and charm. For the price, you might expect a more luxurious ambiance or a design that’s as impressive as its dimensions. Ultimately, the Cozey Ciello XL appeals to those who value space, customization, and functionality—however, design lovers or solo loungers may desire a bit more comfort and style.

I bought Skims… and WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD!? Our review & What’s worth it… & W

I bought Skims... and WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD!? Our review & What's worth it... & W

Kelly Bertrand and Bel Crawford decided to buy Skims – are they worth the hype? How do the sizes fit? And should you buy them too? Kelly’s story: It was a moment that sparked equal parts joy and despair. Joy because when I put on my Skims bodysuit and saw how puffed out my belly was, I was totally thrilled, and despair because I knew I’d just given $100—and probably more now—to Kim Kardashian. Oh, Kelly, what have you done! But in my defense: The universe practically made me buy Skims. My algorithm was relentless—I couldn’t open my phone without seeing an ad. And besides, my jeans are, um, uncomfortably tight because they obviously shrank in the dryer. Obviously. In a moment of weakness, three roses deep (could THAT explain the tight jeans…), I bit the bullet and ordered a Skims Sculpting Thong Bodysuit. In a remarkably short time—I ordered on a Thursday and it arrived on a Tuesday, and that was over Easter AND it came from the US, so seriously impressive there, and the shipping was free—I had a leotard in my hot little hands that looked like it belonged to a Cabbage Patch doll. But when I put it on, I couldn’t help but marvel at my body. Your girl was gone, darling—the bump was there, the waist was defined, the breasts were supported. The jeans in question suddenly had room—ROOM—between the waistband and my belly. THAT is an Easter miracle I can approve of. I posted on Instagram that I bought Skims and loved it, and I’ve never received so much feedback from my friends. Either they confirmed that they also bought and loved Skims, or they asked for size and fit tips (FYI: I wear a size 14 and am a L). So, if so many of my friends are curious, I figured the Capsule readers would be too. Now I’m turning to our Skims expert Bel, who bought a few things from Kimmy K. She has a buying guide—and explains what NOT to waste your money on. Bel’s Expert Tips: As I’m writing this, I get a notification that there’s a new episode of “The Kardashians” on Disney+. Kimberly, are you watching? My Skims #journey began when I succumbed to the purchase of the viral Skims dress – I present this dress as my first Skims option, which I believe is absolutely worth the money: WHAT TO BUY: The Soft Lounge Dress The Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress went viral for a reason. It fits in all the right places and has thousands of reviews raving about its flattering fit – as soon as I put it on, I was dancing around like Kimmy K. You can dress it up or down, the fabric feels soft against your skin, it’s comfortable, and let me tell you, it looks chic! There are a number of imitations of the viral dress – I’ve inspected a few of them as the self-proclaimed quality inspector that I am, but the quality isn’t as good, and you’d probably buy the original anyway. With the onset of the colder months, I naturally decided I needed the long-sleeved version as well (it didn’t take much, just a late-night shopping trip. Aren’t those the best dopamine hits?!). The Shapewear Bodysuit with Snap Fasteners Like Kelly, and despite my boyfriend’s warning not to give my money to “that woman,” I caved and bought a shapewear bodysuit. I opted for the briefs because I didn’t want to risk them being too short and wearing a thong (we’ve all been there, right?!). When I unpacked it, it looked like a baby jumpsuit! But don’t worry, as if by magic, the fabric stretches perfectly when you put it on. I’m considering buying it in nude, too, because a girl needs different options depending on her outfit color! WHAT NOT TO BUY: The Cotton Jersey T-Shirt In my experience (and my opinion), you can save money with the cotton jersey T-shirt at Skims. It fits really well, but pilling started to form under the armpits after a few washes, and the fabric quality doesn’t justify the expensive US dollar to NZ dollar conversion rate. My mom told me to wash my clothes on the delicate cycle, and this shirt didn’t go in the dryer. I was surprised, because everyone raves about this T-shirt and the famous “Fits Everybody” T-shirt! The Cotton Rib Boxer Briefs I’m torn because I wanted to love the cotton rib boxer briefs so much, and I do—but I think the fabric quality isn’t up to scratch. Not the $62 price tag. (I know, I’m embarrassed, too.) My favorite TikTok creator wears the matching set with a tank top as pajamas, which made me want them. They’re comfortable, but the thigh seams aren’t stretchy. There are the Soft Lounge boxers in a softer ribbed fabric. So, despite my hesitation to join the Kardashian empire, will I buy more? Probably. I’d love to try their bras and underwear, but I’m still not sure if it’s worth spending $30 each on seamless panties when you can get a three-pack for $14 at Kmart and they’re really good. A few tips: – Buy directly from the Skims website – Free and fast shipping! – Sizes – the size chart is really helpful and ranges from XXS to 5X. My trick for finding the right size when shopping online is to compare the size chart of a brand whose size you know. I recommend comparing the size chart of an activewear brand you wear when buying Skims. I bought the shapewear in size S/M and all the other items in size S. I thought I needed a M for some models since I have a DD cup, but the sizes are generous; my tip with the size chart didn’t disappoint! Conclusion: So, is Skims worth the hype? For us – yes, with a few caveats. From the shaping shapewear that works wonders (and suddenly makes jeans look

The Best Weber Grills for Grilling, Smoking, and Searing According to Our Tests

The Best Weber Grills for Grilling, Smoking, and Searing According to Our Tests

Weber often performs best in our grill tests. This iconic brand’s grills are high-quality, durable, user-friendly, and come with a generous warranty. Although Weber is best known for its ubiquitous Original Kettle charcoal grill, the company offers grills in all categories, including gas grills, portable grills, smokers, kamado grills, and flat-top grills. Most Weber grills have efficient features that make grilling a pleasure for both beginners and experienced grillers. For example, the folding grates make it easy to add fuel during cooking, and the adjustable dampers allow for easy temperature control. Those willing to spend more can opt for models with luxurious features, such as extra-large cooking zones and smart connectivity that syncs the grill with an app. We’re convinced you can’t go wrong with many Weber models. That’s why we’ve compiled the best models from the range for you to compare. Each of the following grills has been rigorously tested and approved by Serious Eats. Now all you have to do is find the right grill for your individual needs. Gas vs. Charcoal Grills We’ve long recommended the Weber Charcoal Kettle Grill to anyone looking for an excellent grill at a reasonable price. However, our gas grill review proves that Weber is a real powerhouse in this regard as well (most of our test winners are Weber models). If you’re budget-conscious and/or prefer smoky aroma and flavor when grilling, consider a Weber charcoal grill. If efficiency is a top priority for your grilling equipment, consider a gas grill, as they heat up faster. They’re also easier to clean thanks to the lack of ash. Size and Cooking Area Stationary grills have a larger cooking area than portable grills (unsurprisingly). Aside from portable grills, Weber gas grills generally offer larger cooking surfaces than charcoal models. Some gas grills have two cooking grates or are expandable. For comparison, our top charcoal grill, the Weber Original Kettle, offers a usable cooking area of 363 square inches (equivalent to about a dozen burgers). Weber’s best gas grill, the Weber Spirit E-310, offers 450 square inches. Portability If you’re grilling in your own backyard and have enough space to store the grill when not in use, we recommend a stationary Weber model. These have a larger cooking surface and generally retain heat better. They’re also easy to transport: Thanks to at least two wheels, Weber’s stationary models can be moved around the backyard or patio. However, if you plan to grill primarily while camping, tailgating, or at the beach, consider Weber’s portable models. Weber offers portable grills with or without wheels that run on charcoal or gas. The Criteria: What to Look for in a Weber Grill Whether charcoal or propane, stationary or portable, all of our favorite Weber grills have some things in common. High-quality Weber grills are easy to assemble (although, like most other brands, charcoal grills have fewer parts and are easier to set up than gas grills). The best grills are intuitive to use and heat evenly. We prefer Weber grills for their efficient multi-zone cooking and generous warranties that set them apart from the competition. In fact, most of the grills listed below come with a 10-year warranty. Pros of Weber Grills Superior Construction:Weber grills are constructed from robust materials such as stainless steel, porcelain-coated cast iron, and aluminum — guaranteeing long-lasting durability. Consistent Heat Distribution:Their grilling systems ensure uniform, consistent heat across the cooking area, minimizing hot spots. Cutting-Edge Features:Models come equipped with features such as Flavorizer Bars, integrated thermometers, GS4 grilling systems, side burners, and smart connectivity (Weber Connect). Outstanding Warranty:Weber provides extensive warranties, often lasting up to 10 years on essential components — reflecting the brand’s confidence. Wide Product Selection:Whether you prefer charcoal, gas, electric, or pellet grills — Weber offers options to suit every requirement and budget. Exceptional Customer Service:Renowned for dependable after-sales support and the easy availability of replacement parts. Resale Value:Due to the brand’s strong reputation, pre-owned Weber grills generally maintain their value better than those from lesser-known brands. Cons of Weber Grills High Cost:In comparison to generic or local brands, Weber grills are considerably pricier. Assembly Required:While not overly complicated, most models necessitate time and patience for assembly. Limited Smart Features in Basic Models:Only the premium models feature smart technology like Weber Connect; the lower-end models are more basic. Heavy and Bulky:Many models, particularly gas grills, are relatively heavy and not suited for frequent relocation or small outdoor spaces. Accessories Sold Separately:Numerous useful items such as rotisserie kits, covers, or side tables must be bought separately, increasing the overall expense.Pros The Best Weber Gas Grill Weber Spirit E-310 Gas Grill Shop Now Another Great Weber Gas Grill Weber Spirit EP-435 Gas Grill What We Liked: This new Weber grill is the right choice if you’re looking for a larger grill than the E-310. The EP-435 offers a 49.6 cm² grilling surface and two additional grilling zones. These zones provided the necessary heat for perfectly browned burgers and steaks. With a side burner, two shelves, four wheels, a digital display, and a hatch for storing the propane tank, the EP-435 offers a lot for its $800 price tag. It’s also compatible with Weber accessories, including a grill insert. What we didn’t like: The four wheels are small and lockable, but felt wobbly when moving the grill. Made by Mary Jewelry Review

Have you ever wondered about Made by Mary jewelry? Then we’re answering all your burning questions today. If you have any questions that we didn’t answer in this article, please let us know in the comments – we’ll do our best to answer them. We’ve been following (and wearing) Made by Mary jewelry since 2013, when Mary founded this small business and hand-stamped everything herself. In short, we’ve been wearing this brand for ten years. Made by Mary The fact that we still own some of our original hand-stamped pieces from back then is a testament to the quality of Made by Mary jewelry. They use high-quality metals and craft each piece with care and thought. The hand-stamped Lynne necklace pictured above was a gift from a friend to Sarah after her mother’s death. It features her birth flower. What we especially appreciate about this jewelry is the ability to customize it. We all have meaningful moments in life that we like to remember, and personalized jewelry can be a beautiful way to do so. Jewelry from Made by Mary We’ve already mentioned the high-quality metals that Made by Mary uses. We both have sensitive skin, so we don’t wear cheap jewelry. Despite that, we’ve never had any problems with Made by Mary jewelry. No skin discoloration, rashes, infected piercings, etc. Nothing is more frustrating than spending a lot of money on jewelry that you can’t wear because it turns your fingers green or gives you hives. We’ve found that, for us personally, it’s absolutely worth spending a little more to get a piece that will last and be trouble-free. How cute is the packaging? I love those pretty boxes the jewelry comes in. You can see more details on the boxes in the video below. Necklaces from Made by Mary We wanted to show you some close-ups of certain pieces of jewelry. Some of these pieces we’ve had for years, others are newer and were given to us as gifts. Below you’ll find three different necklaces from Made by Mary. Links to specific necklaces can be found below the photo. Made By Mary Earrings I love Made By Mary earrings and am very impressed with their quality. I also love how lightweight they are—they never hurt my ears. Links to some of our favorite earrings (tried and tested) can be found below. Made By Mary Rings Here are a few rings from Made By Mary. We love them. Their website also has a great size chart so you know what size to order. Made By Mary Jewelry I got my first bracelet pierced in January and I absolutely love it. I wasn’t sure how I would like it, as I don’t usually wear bracelets, but I hardly notice it. It hasn’t broken or tarnished. You can get a closer look at both of my bracelets in the video below. If you found this post helpful, we would appreciate a positive comment and rating—they mean a lot to us. We hope you found this post helpful. If you have any further questions that we haven’t answered, please leave them in the comments below. Made By Mary jewelry also makes a great gift for birthdays or other special occasions. Conclusion After over a decade of wearing Made by Mary jewelry, we can confidently say that this brand stands out for its craftsmanship, quality, and sentimental value. From delicate necklaces to lightweight earrings to durable rings, each piece is meticulously designed and crafted with care—perfect for sensitive skin and special moments. Whether you’re gifting a loved one or treating yourself, Made by Mary offers timeless, personalized jewelry that will last. If you’re looking for beautiful, hypoallergenic jewelry with sentimental value, we highly recommend Made by Mary.

Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress Review

Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress Review

Finding the right mattress isn’t always easy for me. Especially when you share a bed with your partner. My husband and I have different preferences when it comes to mattresses. I like it a little softer, he prefers it a little firmer. Imagine how difficult it is to agree on a mattress choice? But that’s how it was until we found the Origin Mattress. We were sent the Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress to test. My husband was VERY impressed, and he’s not the easiest to impress. Want to know why we both love the mattress even though we prefer different firmness levels? I’ll explain it in a way that will make you say, “Oh my gosh, I need it now!” The Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress uses dual-spring technology that adjusts its firmness to the sleeper’s weight, regardless of their body type! And my husband and I have very different body types. This means that we experience different sensations when lying on the mattress, as it adapts to each of us. The overall firmness of this mattress is 6-7 out of 10. I think that’s a good value for a mattress and back health. The Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress combines soft memory foam comfort layers with individually wrapped steel coils for restful sleep. For someone like me, who wakes up with back pain in the morning due to a bad mattress, it’s perfect. This is due to its orthopedic design for back relief! Wondering what materials were used for this mattress? Then you’ve come to the right place! It’s made of silky-soft eucalyptus Tencel. GOTS-certified organic sheep’s wool. CertiPUR-US certified foams. Cooling gel foam. Natural graphite. Up to 2,000 individually wrapped steel springs, dual-tensioned and distributed across five ergonomic zones. The Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress is also hypoallergenic. This means it’s microbe-resistant, hypoallergenic, dust-resistant, and suitable for children. You’re probably reading this blog post right now, but you’re a little nervous about trying the Origin Hybrid Mattress for yourself. But honestly, it’s a no-brainer because Origin offers a 100% money-back guarantee – no questions asked! You can try the mattress in the comfort of your own home for 365 days. If you love it (and I’m sure you will!), great! If not, just email us and we’ll give you a full refund. And what happens to the mattress you return? It’s donated to local charities. Honestly, a win-win for everyone! But it gets even better! Origin offers a LIFETIME GUARANTEE! Why? Simple. Their mattresses are made from high-quality materials and with the utmost care. They’re confident their mattresses are the best. And honestly, they are! So if you’re looking for a new mattress, I highly recommend checking out the Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress. I’m not just saying that because I received the mattress as a sponsorship, but because I sleep on it myself and have never slept better! Conclusion Choosing a mattress that fits both my husband and me was always a challenge – until we discovered the Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress. Its innovative dual-spring technology, orthopedic design, and high-quality materials have completely transformed our sleep. Whether you prefer a firmer or softer mattress, this mattress adapts to your individual needs, providing you with tailored support and unsurpassed comfort. Thanks to its hypoallergenic properties, eco-friendly materials, generous 365-day trial period, and lifetime warranty, it’s a risk-free investment in your sleep health. If you’re tired of sacrificing comfort or waking up in pain, the Origin Adapt Hybrid Mattress could be just what you need. We’re absolutely thrilled – and we think you will be too.

Should You Shop at Fashionphile? Everything You Need to Know Before You Buy

Should You Shop at Fashionphile? Everything You Need to Know Before You Buy

Fashionphile is a re-commerce company for ultra-luxury products founded in 1999. I think its years of experience underscores the company’s high quality! I definitely felt more comfortable there than on other websites that have sprung up in recent years. Fashionphile is also the official re-commerce website for Neiman Marcus—which gives them even more credibility! But you’re probably wondering what my experience was like and what little details there are about the company and its products! I’ll tell you all about it below! What I Bought I’ve shopped at Fashionphile about six times in the past few years and have never been disappointed! I won’t go into all of my purchases here, but rather just a few and the available selection. Saint Laurent Small Sac de Jour My first purchase was the Saint Laurent Small Sac de Jour in gray grained calfskin. It was my first truly luxurious purchase, and I wanted it to be a classic. The supple leather seemed a bit younger, trendier, and less businesslike than other models. For about a third of the current price at Saint Laurent, I bought a pre-owned bag, including a certificate of authenticity, clochette, lock, keys, slip pocket, and strap—basically everything except the original dust bag—in excellent condition (except for the removable strap—it was a bit frayed, which I knew before I bought it)! LOUIS VUITTON Monogram Monceau 28 Another advantage of buying pre-owned bags is the opportunity to buy vintage! Everyone talks about how prices have risen and quality has declined at the same time, even for expensive designer pieces. The Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis made its big splash a few years ago. And it didn’t really wow me. But then I happened upon the vintage Monogram Monceau 28 and immediately knew it would be the perfect monogram bag for me, as I’m not a huge fan of monogram prints. But vintage? Yes! The style is just so classic. It can hold a lot! Plus, it’s quite sturdy, as it’s the classic canvas monogram for luggage. I can carry it without any problems. Since this bag is almost 30 years old, it didn’t have all the bells and whistles like a strap or a dust bag. However, I bought a leather strap from Etsy and am absolutely happy with it. The only other downside: It smells a bit like my grandmother. I guess that’s to be expected from a 30-year-old bag that isn’t made of leather, but that’s to be expected! Chloé Drew Shoulder Bag This bag is no longer in production, but I still think it’s beautiful. It’s perfect for a fancy evening, a cocktail party, or a wedding! With the gold hardware (on mine), it looks like jewelry and enhances any outfit! The Chloé Drew is an affordable option on the secondhand market—I’ve bought several Chloés because they’re so high quality for the resale price. Another advantage of secondhand bags is that you can find rare color samples! I bought a two-tone one in sage green and black and I get compliments on it all the time. It’s definitely harder to find than solid-colored Drews. Mine was in excellent condition and came with the original Chloé dust bag! What can you find on the website? Fashionphile offers a huge selection of designers and items. You can find the full list here! But in general, they sell handbags, shoes, jewelry, and watches, as well as accessories like sunglasses, belts, scarves, and phone cases! They carry designers from Telfar to Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Burberry, Cartier, Saint Laurent, and Chanel. The list is endless. Luxury items are sold here! Is it real? Are the items authentic? Fashionphile has each bag inspected by two authenticators who specialize in specific brands. Furthermore—and this is what reassures me most—they offer a lifetime authenticity guarantee. If something later turns out to be fake, they’ll refund you the full purchase price at any time. Are the prices reasonable? I find the prices fair, considering the condition and current popularity or desirability of a particular item. I’ve heard of cases where a bag is sold out or discontinued when new, and at the same time is in such high demand that the price is higher than retail—think Telfar, Hermes Birkin, or certain Louis Vuitton models. In this case, it might be better to go to the store if possible. h to buy a new bag. If you want to avoid the immediate loss of value when buying new, used bags are a good option. Plus, you can see how the value of bags changes over time if resale value is important to you! There’s also a price reduction system. I believe it happens about every 30 days, but the prices are reduced by 5, 10, 20, and 30% before being sent to Last Call if they still haven’t sold. In Last Call, they are supposed to be reduced by 1% every day until they are sold. Some strange things about pricing: If someoneIf someone purchases an item on sale and then returns it, the full list price will reappear. This can be frustrating if you’re watching an item with a particular discount. If the item never sells, it will likely be removed from the site and eventually relisted at full price. How I Shop? Personally, I don’t look for super-trendy bags listed at the highest price on Fashionphile. I look for great bags at great prices – bargains! I buy what I like and what catches my eye – and if it’s from 2013, that’s perfectly fine! Because when you’re looking for classic-looking bags, age doesn’t matter as long as they’re well-cared for. I filter a lot when browsing on Fashionphile. I’ve noticed that although I find many bags cool and pretty, I’m not willing to spend money on all brands or styles. So I filter by brands I like – Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Saint Laurent, Prada, Loewe, etc. Then I filter by price – I usually have a budget in mind, which I then set as

Z Grills 7002C2E Testbericht

Z Grills 7002C2E Testbericht

The Z Grills 7002C2E is part of our recently published review for the best pellet grill of 2022. We compared five wood pellet grills under $599 in over 20 categories to determine the best wood pellet grill in this price range. Z Grills 700 Specifications Dimensions (assembled): H 130 x W 122 x D 66 cm Weight: 50 kg Cooking area: Main grate 137.5 cm², side grate 18.5 cm², total cooking area 69.7 cm² Cooking height: 23 cm Temperature range: 82–230 °C Hopper capacity: 10 kg The main grate is 66 cm wide and 49 cm deep and is made of porcelain-coated steel. The upper grate is 66 cm wide and 19 cm deep and is also made of porcelain-coated steel. The cooking chamber is 23 cm high, which is important if you plan to smoke your Thanksgiving turkey. This wood pellet grill weighs just over 50 kg and holds up to 11 kg of wood pellets. The pellet hopper even has a viewing window so you can keep an eye on the pellet level at any time during cooking. I really appreciate this feature, as I constantly forget to add wood pellets to my grill before cooking. The main cooking area offers 370 cm² of cooking space, while the upper grate adds another 180 cm², for a total cooking area of 697 cm². The digital PID controller regulates the temperature with a single dial and has a range of 82 to 190 °C. There’s also a smoke setting below 180°C and a high setting above 375°C, which reached temperatures up to 500°C in our tests. Z Grills Build Quality We tested the build quality of this wood pellet grill with our digital caliper and measured a lid thickness of 2.11 mm and a body thickness of 1.55 mm. The grill features two locking caster wheels and two large wheels for easy movement. We found that the large rear wheels make it easier to move through grass and softer soil by lifting the pellet grill by the handle and raising the caster wheels off the ground. Z Grills Control System The control system on the Z Grills 700 Series is a PID temperature controller, which is in line with the current trend in wood pellet grills. Previously, controllers with timed duty cycles or conventional digital controllers were used. The PID temperature controller, on the other hand, regulates the temperature more efficiently. It works proactively, so the temperature doesn’t fluctuate too much over time. Cooking on the Z Grills 700 Wood Pellet Grill Let’s look at some of our cooking on the Z Grills 700 Pellet Grill. Slow and Low We started with a pork shoulder for pulled pork. We seasoned the pork with a 50/50 mix of salt and pepper, set the pellet grill to 250 degrees, and didn’t open the lid for the first three hours. We checked the pork, sprayed it with water to keep it moist, and wrapped it in aluminum foil when it reached an internal temperature of 150 degrees. Once the temperature reached 200 degrees, we removed the shoulder from the wood pellet grill and let it rest in a cooler for a few hours before removing the bone and preparing the pork for sandwiches. Quick and Hot Cooking Next, we prepared a spatchcock chicken with Heath Rile’s Apple BBQ Rub. We trimmed the backbone so it lay flat on the grill and cooked evenly. We set the pellet grill to 350 degrees and let the chicken cook for about 90 minutes, until it was a nice golden brown and the breast reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees. We removed it from the wood pellet grill, covered it with aluminum foil to allow the residual temperature to rise to 165 degrees, and served it to the family for dinner. Grilling For a really quick and hot test, we set the wood pellet grill to high to see if we could really grill like a gas grill. This grill doesn’t have direct access to the flame, but we wanted to see if we could get grill marks on both the included grate and the GrillGrate aluminum grate system. We placed two boneless chicken thighs seasoned with Pit Boss Champion Chicken Rub on each grill and set a timer for 5 minutes. After the timer went off, we flipped the meat, and this is what they both looked like. It turns out you can get grill marks on a wood pellet grill without flame access. Temperature Tests We tested this unit to determine its operating time using an empty pellet hopper filled with exactly 1.8 kg (4 lbs) of wood pellets. We primed the auger and turned it off as soon as the first pellet reached the burner cap. We then reset and turned the pellet grill on until it stabilized at 113°C (235°F). The grill ran for 3 hours and 39 minutes with 1.8 kg (4 lbs) of wood pellets before dropping below 113°C (235°F) and continuing to lose heat until it was turned off. Using our Thermoworks Signals, we measured the exact temperature of the wood pellet grill compared to the programmed temperature of the Z Grills 700 pellet grill. We also measured how long it took this wood pellet grill to heat up from cold start to 113°C (250°F). We magnetically attached our Thermoworks Big and Loud Timer to the front panel so we could see both readings. It reached 113°C (250°F) in just 11 minutes and 38 seconds. Warranty As for the warranty, the Z Grills Pellet Grill comes with a standard 3-year warranty. For more information, visit the Z Grills website. What We Love About the Z Grills 700 Series Wood Pellet Grill The Z Grills 7002c2e has a large hopper that can withstand virtually any low-temperature smoking session. I love that this pellet grill has a pellet hopper cleaning feature. This allows me to change pellet types at any time and also drain the wood pellets when needed. I
