Is Bohme Legit? Here’s What You Should Know
My First Impression of Bohme
After browsing their website, I don’t see anything immediately obvious as a scam, apart from a few minor typos on the “About Us” page. I don’t see any obvious inconsistencies, the images seem consistent and authentic, etc. – keep scrolling to learn more!
About Bohme
Yes, they are. Their homepage states: “Our trendy collections of dresses, jeans, tops…” Words like “trendy” are a dead giveaway. On their “About Us” page, they also state that they only work with factories that offer living wages and decent conditions for their in-house brands, and they openly admit that they carry third-party brands whose ethical compliance is not guaranteed. I don’t feel like they’re greenwashing, but vague claims about sustainability are meaningless without some kind of substantiation.

According to their contact page, the company is located in the USA. The address is 12094 S. Life Science Court Suite 100, Draper, UT 84020. There are 14 stores in Utah, Idaho, South Dakota, and Montana. Three more will follow in Texas, Arizona, and Illinois.

Color/Size/Price: Terracotta / M / $59.50

Material: 80% Polyester / 20% Cotton
Fit: I ordered according to the size chart. The size is correct, but it doesn’t fit my proportions. The bust area is one size too large, but the top seam of the skirt (right at the hip) has the right circumference. Since the skirt doesn’t stretch, a size smaller would likely be a bit tight around the hips and not feel loose and flowy. It’s very lightweight (the material feels like a slightly rough bedsheet) and the bust is lined. My body measurements are for size reference.

Value: The quality is okay, but not outstanding—it’s not worth the price.

Fit: I ordered it based on the size chart, and it fits perfectly. However, the bust sits a little too high relative to my natural bust line. It would fit better if the seams in the bust area were half an inch lower. My body measurements are for size reference.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality of the materials is decent, but I find the design poor. A white, sheer lace layer over a white, sheer, sheer lining is a bad idea. The front buttons are also difficult to use. The small elastic loops are very stretchy and tiny (you need very small hands and fingernails to button them easily). Value: These jeans are not worth the price.

Fit: I ordered based on the size chart, and they fit well. They fit perfectly at the waist (very little noticeable gap), are comfortable and stretchy, and are the perfect length for my height (just below the ankles). My body measurements are for size reference.

Value: They are worth the price!

Material: 100% Cotton
Fit: I ordered according to the size chart, and they fit well. You can roll up the hem for a cropped/tucked look or pull it down to the hips. They are very breathable and lightweight, and I love the wide neckline and sleeves. My body measurements are for size reference.

Value: I wouldn’t pay full price for this, but I think it would be a fair price if it were on sale.
