I’ve made it my mission to test all the affordable clean beauty brands on the market. Kosas is a brand I first tried after hearing rave reviews about their eyebrow gel. This product was a clear winner and is now a daily part of my makeup routine. Since then, I’ve purchased a few Kosas products to try and am sharing my review below. *This post is not sponsored, and I paid for all the products myself.
My skin type is very dry, so I can’t comment on how these products will work on oily skin.
ABOUT KOSAS
Kosas founder Sheena Zadeh-Daly studied biology and founded the Kosas brand after taking a painting class. She launched the brand in 2015 with four lipstick shades. Today, Kosas offers a complete makeup line, from sunscreen to foundation to mascara.
Similar to my favorite brand, Ilia, Kosas‘ makeup formulas always contain nourishing ingredients that care for the skin and improve it over time with regular use. The brand describes its look as “Comfy Glam,” which essentially means wearable makeup that looks good. The look is described as “you plus something extra.”
They adhere to EU clean beauty standards and avoid many ingredients that have been shown to be harmful in studies.
PRODUCTS I TRIED
For this review, I selected Kosas‘ bestsellers and tested them myself. I skipped a few products based on the reviews. One product that received good reviews is the Kosas Revealer Skin Improving Foundation, but my shade was sold out at the time of this review. I will update this post once I’ve tried it.

Kosas BB Burst Tinted Moisturizing Gel-Cream with Copper Peptides
This newly released tinted moisturizer is worth the hype. It contains copper peptides that support collagen production, as well as other nourishing ingredients that reduce redness, smooth skin texture, and hydrate the skin. It’s super lightweight and easy to apply. I find it’s best applied with my hands. I think it only covered the redness minimally, but I use a little concealer around my nose and cheeks to reduce redness. I often use this product on hot summer days when I want to wear light makeup.
Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer
As I’ve gotten older, concealer has become one of the most difficult products to find. I’m looking for a hydrating concealer that won’t settle into the fine lines around my eyes. I have to say, this one from Kosas is very effective. It has medium coverage and feels and looks very natural on the skin. It also contains ingredients typically found in eye creams, such as hyaluronic acid, to hydrate and plump the delicate skin around the eyes.
Kosas Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel
This product originally turned me on to the Kosas brand. It’s now my favorite brow product and one I can’t live without. I use it daily (even on days when I wear minimal makeup) to fluff up my brows and add a pop of color. It also contains ingredients that promote brow health, but I haven’t noticed any real changes in that regard.
Conclusion: Is Kosas worth it?
Kosas quickly earned a permanent place in my makeup bag. From the effortless finish of the BB Burst Gel Cream to the skin-loving moisturizer of the Revealer Concealer, every product I tried impressed me with its performance and comfort. While I can’t speak to how Kosas performs on oily skin, on my dry skin, the formulas felt nourishing, lightweight, and never cakey. The Air Brow Gel remains a standout—it’s easy to apply, adds instant shine, and lasts all day.
What sets Kosas apart is its authentic blend of pure ingredients and skin-loving properties without sacrificing aesthetic results. If you’re looking for a clean beauty brand that lives up to the hype—and works just as well as traditional makeup—Kosas is a great investment. It’s modern, skin-focused, and perfect for a fresh, everyday look.
